Recap: we began at the temple of iomedae where the priestess Cirthana had just lost another pupil right before meeting a holy warrior,  dalthwin, a tall handsome half elf who agreed to help find out what happened to her missing friend barlus the hunter. She mentioned he was going to use a logging camp as a staging ground and suggested you may have better luck than she did if you ask around there. We then met sheriff baleson and rugryn, a dwarf who's been living and working in falcons hollow as they discussed a famous Dwarven adventurer,  druingar the glintaxe, as the sheriff recently discovered new information about the dwarfs roots in the town and the artifact he was searching for.  He's asked you to find closure to his mysterious disappearance in hopes it will inspire the town.  Afterwards we met Laurel the towns herbalist as well as ember, a young fiery halfling girl and learned of an increasing sickness among the townsfolk. Laurel stated she believes she may have found a cure but she is running out of the necessary ingredient and suggests the new team search the hag ulizmilas hut for more, but to be wary for there are rumors circulating among the loggers of a smart wolf laying traps and abducting people. You then headed to the cutyard to inquire further about the smart wolf rumors. You saw a logger snap and go axe happy before meeting with payden teetum, where he confirmed the rumors to be true. 

We pick back up in the cut yard, in the office of payden teedum. He's showing you a spear trap they found that was supposedly set by the smart wolf. The victim of this trap,  M, he tells you is recovering back at the northern camp. He's offered you a reward for bringing the smart wolf back to him so he can mount its head on his wall.
