recap #1 seven dooms

You arrived in sandpoint via boat from magnimar around noon. You visited the rusty dragon inn and met the proprietor bethana corwin. You had a few drinks and a nice lunch. Uthred and vead got on stage to regale the crowd with tales of adventure much to bethanas delight. Finley got a little toasted on her seasonal ales. Bethana gave you some insight on where the cathedral was, and where to look if you needed upgrades to your weapons and armor. After that you went to the red dog Smithy and met das korvut, who through diplomacy and empathy for his recently deceased dogs upgraded his unfriendly demeanor to indifferent. He told you he did not sell his wares personally, he just smithed items and sold them through savah at savahs armory. You hopped over to savahs and Finley bought a bastard sword and a potency rune for it and uthred bought a potency rune for his trident. You went back to das and he agreed to try to etch those runes for you that same day. From there you checked out the curious goblin, a library and scroll shop where vead purchased several scrolls. From there you went to the sandpoint cathedral to meet with father abstalar zantus. You observed shrine to 6 different deitys in the cathedral while being led to the veranda by an acolyte named walda, passing 7 nine foot tall huge stones in the courtyard making your way to a table where father zantus and lunch were waiting for you. He welcomed you thanked you for coming and wanted to learn a bit about you guys while you ate. Then he got down to business asking what you knew of sandpoints shameful history. He proceeded to give you the run down on the entire history of the town from its troubled founding 58 years ago all the way up to today,  focusing mainly on a story involving s girl named nualia. He told you the tale of nualia and how the town and her foster father had a role in making her a resentful monster he'll bent on destroying sandpoint and that he believed she deserved better. He's also been having dreams of nualia that have gotten more intense recently and he wishes to perform a call spirit ritual to talk to her, to see if he can make it right and put her spirit to rest. He told you he needs a physical link to her to perform the ritual and there's nothing left but her remains but when he went to exhume the body there was an empty coffin dug into from below by what he guessed was ghouls. He asked you to investigate, destroy any ghouls,  and bring back nualias remains if you find them. You headed back to das to get your new weapons and through some flirting by Finley you increased his attitude from indifferent to helpful. After that you were ready to go into the tunnels. You had a rocky start, slipping and falling immediately entering the tunnels and heard and saw goblin ghouls talking about being hungry.  A fight insued where uthred acted as a punching bag fending off paralysis multiple times before finally succumbing once. Glorkus, the leader of this motley crew kept shouting about chief ripnugget. Before you finally defeated the 6 goblin ghouls. After you healed up a bit you explored further finding blood runes and a shrine to kabriri with a sack on top which you discovered was nualias remains. You heard whispering behind a boarded up section of tunnel, a frightened goblin ghoul who told you a bit about what they were doing down there and that they angered up the fire monster. He also told you the ripnugget made his way to the Pit. Uthred smashed through the barricade and the little goblin ghoul skittered off as a fireball came flying in. A goat headed humanoid figure than appeared out of thin air and after an intense fight with him vead went down. Uthred ran over, popped a healing potion and fed it to vead allowing vead to score a divine lance that tore through the demons heart and killed it. 220xp
