recap #3 kobold king

Last session you began by heading up to the logging camp to talk to the victim of the supposed smart wolf's spear trap. When you got there you were taken to see the camp supervisor Carl who told you merkin was healing from his wound and that also he was there and saw the wolf with his own eyes! He recounted his story of being out in the forest with merkin and Tommy when the spear struck merkin in the leg and the biggest meanest wolf bounded out of the bushes snatched Tommy up and took off. Carl tracked him for a bit but lost his nerve when he saw the wolf heading towards droskars crucible. He also told you that barlus was by the camp and wanted to stay there but carl had kicked him out and told him he'd be safer camping at old ulizmilas hut. You went to speak with merkin who said it all happened so fast but he does think he stepped on a trip plate.

You then headed into the forest, making your way to the hags hut. You found 3 dead sprites pinned to a tree and then were attacked by a zombie kobold. You harvested some glow mold that you found. You then made it to the hut, and once inside you were attacked by an animated cauldron that swallowed ember whole! Ru creatively pinned the cauldron with her grappling hook and smashed down on the lid with such force it destroyed the cauldron. Outside the hut you found 6 ironbloom mushrooms! And a recently used campfire. There were small reptilian prints and larger swath that suggested a human sized object was dragged away from the camp.  You tracked these prints to droskars crucible.  In the yard you came upon 2 wolves who didn't appear to be the menacing Darkmoon beast that you've been sent to kill. You dispatched of them but not before dalthwin took a serious beating rendering him unconscious.
